Caravan of guests in blue turbans on camels near Agadir

Our guides & animals

A ranch in Aghroud Bensergao where the camels have names, mint tea rounds off the ride, and the welcome is the thing guests remember.

The host

Ask for Houcine

Houcine is the one answering your WhatsApp messages, arranging your taxi (and texting you the driver's details in advance) and pouring the tea when you're back. One guest put it simply: “I sat down with Hussein after the experience, we had a lovely chat & delicious tea.”

Alongside him ride the guides guests thank by name — Yaseen, who talks terrified beginners into grinning converts; Mourad, careful with new riders and quick to open the pace for confident ones; and Mohammed — all of them quick to stop the caravan at the right spot for a photo.

Atlas, Fatima, Shakira & friends

Our camels are individuals, and guests learn their names. Atlas even gets fan mail: “I loved to go together with the best camel named ATLAS!” wrote one reviewer. Fatima and Shakira carry their share of admirers too — and a baby camel often tags along with the caravan, entirely for the joy of it.

The camels

Calm, tall, unhurried — they kneel for you to mount and sway you to the river. The youngest in the herd grow up right here at the ranch.

The horses

Steady with beginners, forward for experienced riders. Reviewers notice what matters: “The horses are well fed… fur is shiny and clean.”

The farmyard

Sheep, goats, dogs and the occasional four-day-old lamb in someone's arms. Many rides start with a wander around the farm to meet everyone.

How we keep them

Animal care you can see for yourself

We won't wave certificates at you — we'd rather show you the animals. Guests are welcomed around the farm before they ride: calm, well-fed animals, babies raised alongside the herd, and rides paced for the animals as much as the riders.

  • Meet the herd at the ranch before you mount
  • Calm, well-fed animals with clean, shiny coats
  • Gentle pacing, water stops, rest between rides
  • Baby camels and lambs raised with the herd

In guests' words

We held a little baby sheep, only four days old!... The horses are well fed... fur is shiny and clean.
